More to the point: yeah, fuck Fallout morality. Even more annoying than what eventually happens, to my thinking, is how I need to enter black-and-white virtua city to begin with. I mean, I have access to the pods these people are stuck in, yeah? And yet it doesn’t allow me to wake them up. My only option is the batshit crazy “get in a pod myself” option.

Incidentally, if you try punching the bad guy to death, he’ll instant-kill you in response. Also if you try to beat him with a rolling pin. I found these things out in my desperate attempts to find some solution to the dilemma other than, like, mass murder.
